FAILURE BEFORE 100 KTS or V1

1. Call Out Failure -> decide STOP OR GO

RTO Reasons

Before 100 kts => Capt's Discretion

Between 100 kts and V1: Fire, Severe Damage, Loss of thrust, Malfunctions, Windshear

2. If STOP -> RTO (Reverse max, Decel, Cancel Aural Warnings, Inform ATC)

-> When STOPPED = ECAM ACTIONS

-> If EVAC required = EVAC CHECKLIST


FAILURE AFTER V1 = NO ACTION BEFORE 400 ft AGL (except cancel Aural warnings and Gear UP)

After 400 ft AGL = ECAM ACTIONS until Engine Secured, then push V/S to Level Off, Accelerate and Cleanup.

At Green Dot OP CLB = MCT, continue with ECAM, STS.
